Taking place during our annual Maritime Festival right in Greenport Harbor, the Kayak Race sees contestants race around a buoy before aiming to sink their opponents! Our kayaks are made of wooden frames with plastic wrap stretched over to form the hulls, allowing racers to stab through the kayaks of their rivals until only one remains standing (or floating!)
