Ida May Oyster Farm Tours
Join the East End Seaport Museum with Peeko Oysters and the historic oyster dredge Ida May for an unforgettable experience! Enjoy unlimited oysters, wine, and beer while looking out over Peconic and Gardiner’s Bays on this relaxing cruise!
Snapper Fishing Contest
Taking place during our Annual Maritime Festival, the Snapper Fishing Contest is a fun activity directed towards younger festival-goers and their families! The contest takes place right behind the East End Seaport Museum on a working commercial fishing dock, where our contestants will cast their lines on the hunt for Snapper!
Ages 8 and under are welcome from 1-2pm
Ages 9 and up are welcome from 2-3pm
Kayak Race
Taking place during our annual Maritime Festival right in Greenport Harbor, the Kayak Race sees contestants race around a buoy before aiming to sink their opponents! Our kayaks are made of wooden frames with plastic wrap stretched over to form the hulls, allowing racers to stab through the kayaks of their rivals until only one remains standing (or floating!)
Cardboard Regatta
Taking place during our Annual Maritime Festival right in Greenport Harbor, the Cardboard Regatta pits contestants against each other to race in the least seaworthy vessels ever produced in the village of Greenport!
Maritime Festival
Join us at our 35th Annual Maritime Festival! About 10,000 people visit Greenport each year for this major community event. We will be celebrating Greenport’s rich maritime history with our annual street fair, parade, local food, live music, and tons of activities throughout the village!
Land & Sea Gala
Our 2025 Land & Sea Gala was held at Safe Harbor, where guests enjoyed food, drink, auctions, and plenty of prizes!

Presentation and Discussion: UpSculpt with Brianna Sander
Join the East End Seaport Museum on Sunday, April 27th for a lecture and demonstration on marine debris, delivered by Brianna Sander! Brianna works alongside the artist Cindy Pease Roe at the non-profit UpSculpt, which combines upcycling and sculpting to create environmentally conscious art to educate and engage the public.

David Martine, curator for the Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center, presents on the role the Shinnecock Native people played in histories of whaling and shipwrecks.
Presentation and Discussion: The Offshore Lighthouses of Southold Town with Ted Webb
Join us at the East End Seaport Museum on Sunday, March 30th for a presentation and discussion on the offshore lighthouses of Southold (including our very own Bug Light,) led by native North Forker Ted Webb! Mr. Webb is the former president of the East End Seaport Museum Board, and is the current cruise narrator for Orient Ferry Lighthouse Tours.
