For Children 7-11

This session introduces children to marine invertebrates found around eastern Long Island, under the guidance of Group For the East End and East End Seaport Museum staff.  Participants will be able to see and handle live specimens, including bivalves, crustaceans, echinoderms, porifera, and even horseshoe crabs! After handling and learning about these fascinating creatures, participants will walk to a nearby beach for a beach-combing expedition.
