EESM Bob Allen_Montauk Light.png

Each of our excursions includes the opportunity to learn about lighthouse history and lore from a guide. Our narrator Bob Allen is the great-grandson of William H. Follett, a lighthouse keeper from 1912 until 1940 who was stationed at Montauk Point, Cedar Island and the Long Beach Bar "Bug" Light stations. Bob’s father, Bill, quit school at a young age to help Bob's grandfather at Bug Light. Bob shares engaging stories and photos from his family's experiences at these lighthouses. Become a friend on Facebook.
