George Peter has spent over 30 years in the advertising industry with experience in all
phases of sales and media management. His ability to develop long-term marketing strategies and client relationships
has provided proven results in numerous positions, from Vice President of Sales for a national media company to
Manager of Corporate Underwriting for Public Broadcasting. Most recently, his ability to assess and successfully
address strategic opportunities and fluctuating marketing conditions prompted him to serve as a sales consultant
for a start-up regional news network in the greater New York area. He thrives on new business opportunities and
challenges.
George received his MBA in Marketing and BA in Business & Management from the City
University of New York. He is married with three adult children and lives in East Marion.

Leueen Miller |
Leueen Miller joined the Board in 2000 and was elected President in 2001. Having always lived
close to the water, she has a keen interest in maritime issues. Mrs. Miller, now retired, has 38 years experience
as a diplomat and senior United Nations official. She has held many major UN posts including director of development
assistance to Asia, Europe and the CIS, UN envoy as well as Senior Advisory Positions. She has a broad range of
organizational experience including a proven leadership record. Part of that experience has included advising governments
on the strengthening of their cultural programs including museums. She has maintained a residence on the North
Fork of Long Island for 35 years and is thoroughly familiar with the area. Mrs. Miller now has a business in Greenport
and is a member of the Southold/Greenport Chamber of Commerce. |

Peter Gesell
|
Peter B. Gesell Jr. is a Vice President at The Bank of New York and received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has a diverse international
background having lived overseas for 10 years in Mexico, Ireland and France.
Mr. Gesell joined the Board in January 2004 and has a special interest in the preservation of Bug Light as it was
his grandfather who initially purchased it from the US Government in 1956. He is also a member of the board of
the American School of Paris Alumni Association, a member of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association
Greater New York Chapter, is actively involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association in New Jersey, and a member
of the Monmouth Rugby Football Club and the Orient Yacht Club.
Peter, his wife Susan, and their son, Peter III make their home in Huntington, NY as well as Orient, NY, where
their family roots date back more than 50 years.

Bob Allen
|
Bob was brought up in Greenport, graduated from GHS, received his AAS from Suffolk and
his BBS Degree from Dowling. He is presently a Supervisor with OTB.
Bob's Father was a commercial Fisherman, his Mother was primarily a housewife but she was
also a scallop opener and my fathers mate on his fishing boat.
His Great Grandfather was the 1st Assistant Lighthouse Keeper at Montauk Lighthouse and
moved on to be the lighthouse keeper at Cedar Island Lighthouse. His last assignment was as the Lighthouse keeper
at Long Beach Bar Lighthouse aka "Bug Light".
Bob's Father and Uncle were brought up on Cedar Island Lighthouse after their Mother died
in childbirth. Bob's Dad was his Grandfathers helper at Bug Light until it was decommissioned in 1941. Presently
I give give tours out to Cedar Island Lighthouse talking about my families history with the lighthouse.
Bob is married with two children.

| Kelly Logsdon Reardon |
New to the board in 2007, Kelly Logsdon Reardon is a sales executive in New York's wholesale
garment district. After graduating from Syracuse University she moved to NY for a position in the buying offices
of Saks Fifth Avenue. She has focused the last ten years in wholesale swimwear where she has managed brands such
as Nike, Nautica and Ralph Lauren. Her experience in sales, marketing and product development will enable her to
expand retail sales potential both in store and future web operations.
Mrs. Reardon began to weekend in Greenport in 2001 and she met her future husband in the Village that summer. They
now reside in Greenport with their 2 year old son. |
| Linda Ortiz |
Joined the Board in 2001. She is a currently the Director of the Village of Greenport Recreation
Center and also the Code Enforcement Officer for the Village. She has a degree in education with more than 20 years
experience managing summer camps and educational programs. |
| Jane Rohman |
Joined the Board in 2001. Now retired, her background is in education both teaching and coaching
sailing, tennis and soccer. She has become interested in shellfish agriculture through Cornell s program. She is
a sailor and a collector of antique scientific instruments (barometers). She brings to the Board her ability to
work with local schools, her interest in nautical antiquities and her interest in local mariculture. |
| Paula Thorp |
Paula Thorp joins the Board of Directors of the East End Seaport Museum and Marine Foundation.
After many years of volunteering for the Greenport Maritime Festival as Parade Chairwomen,
Paula has joined the organization as a board member in January 2005.
Paula has lived in South/East Marion her entire life, either as a summer resident or full
time, as she is currently. She graduated from Southold High School in 1960, went on to nursing school and became
an RN in 1963. Presently, she is a relief supervisor at San Simeon Nursing Home in Greenport, after having worked
in areas like the OR, Recovery Room and ICU.
Paula and her husband have a boat and love to cruise the Peconic Bay. Kayaking, swimming,
cooking, entertaining and hanging out at the beach with her grandchildren fill in her spare time.

| Edward W. Webb |
Joined the Board in 1998, following in the footsteps of his father who was one of the founders
of the organization in 1990. He is retired from the American Heart Association where he served as Senior Vice President.
Mr. Webb is a resident of Orient and has spent a lifetime on the local waters. He has a love and appreciation
of our nautical heritage and a strong desire to preserve and protect it. He brings to the Board extensive experience
with managing not-for-profit organizations and a keen interest in the water and local maritime history. He is currently
chairman of the Lighthouse Committee, charged with the responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the Long
Beach Bar Light. |

Bob Wieczorek
|
Bob has diverse financial background including working at money center and international
banks. Before he launched his own firm, Mr. Wieczorek was a Managing Director and Head of North American Corporate
Finance for Credit Lyonnais Securities (USA), Inc. Currently, Mr. Wieczorek is a Managing Partner at STORM Capital
Management, LLC which runs a private investment partnership servicing high net worth individuals and institutions.
He also founded Greenport Capital, LLC a corporate advisory firm which assists small and medium sized companies
with finance related maters as well as acquisitions and divestitures.
Bob grew up sailing on Long Island and Block Island Sound. Greenport and the numerous area
coves were often the destination of childhood family cruises. When Bob married his wife Allison (Northport Harbor
Master & daughter), they purchased a house on the water in Greenport where they are raising their son Robert
III. Both Bob and his wife, Allison are competitive sailors (Bob was on the sailing team at Tulane and Allison
at URI) and frequently race on area boats. They are members of both the Larchmont Yacht Club and Gull Pond Yacht
Club where Bob is also a Director.
